Pricing FAQ
- Are agency duplication fees included?
- No. OPRA agencies may charge small fees for paper copies or media (typically $0.05–$0.75/page). When that happens, we pay the agency and pass the cost through at no markup with your records.
- Can I get a refund if the agency denies my request?
- If we make a clear filing error, yes — we'll either re-file at no charge or refund. We can't refund a denial based on a legitimate OPRA exemption (active investigation, juvenile record, etc.) — but every filer gets a free consultation with an attorney from our partner network to help you decide whether to appeal at the Government Records Council.
- What counts as one request?
- One agency, one set of records. If you need the same records from five towns, that's five requests. Pro covers up to 50 requests per month; unused requests don't roll over.
- What happens if I hit my monthly cap?
- Pro caps at 50 requests/month. If you regularly need more, contact sales for a custom quote — high-volume firms come out cheaper per-request on a custom plan.
- How does the $19 Rush add-on work?
- Rush is an optional checkbox at checkout. It moves your filing to the top of our queue with a 2-business-hour send SLA instead of 24. It's a flat $19 per filing and works on any plan.
- Do you offer attorney / journalist / firm discounts?
- Yes — high-volume professional users belong on Custom. Contact sales for volume and multi-seat pricing.
